Learn Something New

Today when i was with family and friends, they were asking me what was i learning in school, one of the things i had talked to them about was about my last essay and the rhetorical situation. i learned about the rhetorical situation in Eng. 101 i understood it but could not remember when they asked me what it was. while i was sitting there my cousin, who has already taken the class was trying to explain it. We were both sitting there thinking on how to explain it then i thought about the triangle, the triangle consisted of the writer, text, and reader. that was the way i understood it, the writer was the ethos how the author presented him/herself, then text was logos which meant logical appeal that was if the person used the text effectively, then reader which was pathos that meant the emotions that came about the subject. Oh, how hard it was to explain but I did it!

Essay Two.

This essay at first I thought would be easier than the first one, but then starting the essay it got difficult. I now understand what Jolly said that the difference between high school research papers and college research papers. I am still in high school and this is just my third paper that I am doing were I have to make my point and have something support me. I think that with the peer review it will really help me, because for the first paper it helped me a lot. The second essay for myself was hard to think of a subject to evaluate, because there are so many things out there to evaluate, from the begging of the paper to now i have changed it three times. I think that the last one was a better choice for me because I have experienced both, and so thats my thoughts on essay two.
